Title: Amboyna With Sap Wood
Post by: YoteCoaxer on August 03, 2008, 06:32:00 AM
Amboyna Burl can be some of the most aggravating wood that I have worked with, but sometimes the end result is worth the effort (maybe  :laf:). With all the nasty stuff I ran into while trying to build a few calls, I'm not sure I want to do anymore from this type of wood. Anyway, here is the final product!

Thank you for looking!

Thank you both for the kind words, they really are appreciated! :bowingsmilie:

I had such a hard time with the wood for this call, that I nearly gave up on it and pitched it in the trash!  :madd:
