My youngest son and two of my nephews were drawn for a youth hunt this past weekend which was sponsored by the Texas State Rifle Association. Hunt took place outside Uvalde Texas.... and man was it HOT!!!
Kiddo's had a good time though. Each was successful on Ram, and my two nephews connected on hogs.
My youngest boy (age 10) used his .22 Hornet stoked with 45gr. Nosler Solid base. Nephews (both age 16) each used a 7mm-08 stoked with 140gr. Winchester Power Points.
Didn't have my camera for a few of the kills.... but another hunter on the trip had his so hopefully this week I'll get copies in my e-mail.
