Title: What'cha think of this?
Post by: straycat on November 15, 2006, 08:08:22 AM
 This is from a Tenn. newspaper article;

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has arrested four men for illegally baiting bears.

A T-W-R-A spokesperson said officers had been watching an area in Blount County as the four-day bear season opened Monday. Officers said they found a place where someone had placed powdered chocolate, M&Ms, peanut brittle and other sweets.

Officers arrested Jason Lee Cable and Keith Russell, both of
Maryville, Tenn. They also arrested Tommy Cooper of Walland and Ray
Monger of Morristown. They were all charged with hunting in a baited area and with hunting without the landowner's permission.

The hunters' rifles and other gear was confiscated. They're scheduled to appear in court in January.

T-W-R-A officer Jeff Pearce says wildlife agents have several
areas in the foothills under surveillance.      :nofgr:

I personally think they were Bopeye hunting................but I'd never say that in public,might hurt the 'little' fellers feelings!
