Title: Owl Hooters

I have been busy turning owl hooters, coyote calls and squirrel calls. Here is a picture of 8 hooters I finished today. From l to r the woods are: purpleheart, cocobolo, bocote, olivewood, bocote. purpleheart, marblewood and purpleheart.

Neat looking calls but please don't tell me you guy's hunt owl's too. :iroll:

The Owl hooter is used to make a turkey give up his location buy shockinging him to gobble.
You can also use crow calls for this or a coyote howler, peacock call, hawk,.......and many more but owl and crow are the most popular. :wink:

Thanks for enlightening me on that.  We don't got no wild turkey's so had never heard of it.

Nice hooters !    I never tried one. I'll have to do that someday.  I mean the calls.  :doh2:
