wv_yoter is recovering nicely from his broke leg. We have been out twice in the last few days doing a few stands. Here are some photos . . . . .

If you look closely you can see the Scorpion and the Quiver Critter just to the left of the farthest away round bale. We did three stans in these large high meadows that had recently been mowed. We have heard coyotes in this are before. We found this scat . . . .

We had a swirling wind that made our stands difficult. No success on this trip.
Here is Jason, he is pretty much recovered. Doing real well. It's good to have him join me again for a few stands. We just need to get some coyotes to the gun.

You've been there Glen. There was lots of tracks and scat in the area, but we didn't hear any coyotes. Jason is doing great!

The locked gate is just to the right of that pic. Good eye after only being there once! They just cut the hay recently and I thought we would have a good chance to call something in, but no luck.

Thats what I was thinking Jim. The barn & intersection we called for a cat is purdy much straight ahead thru the trees. maybe a tad to the left I believe. It is beautiful country up there for sure & I hope to make it back again. :biggrin:
