We have a rule change on the fall turkey season here in Ohio. What was a split 6 week season is now all one season. The rules originally read the 1st 2 weeks was shotgun/archery season with the last 4 weeks being ARCHERY ONLY. The new rules state we can hunt Fall turkeys from Oct 11th THRU Nov 30th with SHOTGUNS & ARCHERY. So for those who wouldn't mind an extra 10lbs of turkey for Thanksgiving but don't have the time it takes to bowhunt them here's your chance!! The other rule change was that they added 9 more counties to the fall season list. Check your Game Regs booklet.
They are going to need to add a LOT more counties before it arrives here in the northwest part of the state. Maybe in the year 2525.
