Larry and I hooked up this morning to start the season off with a few calls. The first place produced this female, (http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e67/lankrod/oct08_1.jpg) right off the bat. Later in the call, her mate snuck waay downwind, and hung up. I tried to move for a shot, after it looked like he winded us, and he split. Made two other calls with no takers and called it a day. My three year old wanted to be in the picture. Still kind of early in the season, but ya gotta start sometime.
That first of the season is like a jump start of adrenaline aint it? :eyebrow:
Nice job, thanks for sharing the pic
I think the lil one makes the whole pic.
Congrats on the coyote :yoyo: :yoyo:
That's the way to get er going. Nice looking little hunter there. Won't be long before he will be the shooter.

ROAD KILL!!!!!
Brian - that's just the kind of reply I would expect out of a man that wears flip flops in public, I swear to God it is. :laf:
Little Carson is ready to go - he can blow a pretty good rabbit distress! He likes to watch the hunting DVD's too.
Jim's right about a shot of adrenaline - I'm itching to go now!! Wish we would get a frost, and get them leaves falling!!! I don't have a lot of "open" areas to hunt, and I'm ready to get in the timber.
wearing flip flops is a law, I swear to god it is, look it up
