With this weekend being early muzzleloader season in Kaintuckee, I decided to take the 'ol front loader for a walk this morning. Managed to bump in to two does and three fawns who were also out for an early morning stroll. Picked out the plumpest of the does and let 'er rip at 72 steps. Got some meat for the freezer.

That gun is a .50 cal Thompson Center Scout Carbine. They don't make 'em anymore. I use 100gr of Pyrodex and a 350gr Maxi Hunter bullet and open sights. I've had that gun so long I forgot when I bought it. :laf:
