My brother called me today checking On crystals operation and told me to go to Yahoo and do a search for my Dads Name Carman Emerson Sharp and this interview for Marshall College came up with audio and tanscripts. The first man Pictured is my Granddad and the second is my Dad. the Interview Mainly deals with the local Hanover shoe plant which My Dad Ran until 1985 when He retired and International shoe. My Granddad talks about Old Shay engines and workin in the woods as a yuoung man and making Rail ties. But the most Interesting parts is near the end Granddad talks about the night He killed a Panther one night out coon hunting I remember that story from when I was a kid and tonight was the first time since 1983 that I had heard my grandads voice and since 1998 since I had heard my Dads kind of teared up the ole big guy a touch and I thought you all may find the interview intersting
