Since there are several here that really like the 17HMR I thought I would post a link to one that is for sale.  It was just posted, so if you hurry you might be able to get it.

That wood is curly maple ?  At first glance I instantly thought walnut.  That is beautiful.

Yikes...thats freakin' crazy :shck:

Most of the stocks you see on custom muzzleloaders is curly maple as well. They put a finish on it to make it look like an antique firearm. I have seen a couple different methods, but I'm not gonna go into the boring details of it.
