Could someone tell me which is a better 223 or 22-250
Better for what?
What ranges and what game would you be using them for?
My personal opinion is the one you left at home will be the better caliber for the hunt you are on at the time
Slagmaker,
I never thought of it in quite that way, but I think you are correct!

there is no real answer to this question.223 is verry low recoil, inexpensive to shoot, and is a great little cartridge. The 22-250 is flatter shooting with a little more recoil and ammo is a little more expensive. All in all, they are both great varmint loads. It depends on what you are hunting and what results you want.
What results I want? Well I want a dead varmint :eyebrow:, what else would I want...... :roflmao:
