I think PA opened up too late this year. At least the northern zone. We dont get alot of migrators here anymore, most of the ducks/geese I take are locals. What can migrate isnt going to stop by, or they already went on by. All the small non moving water is froze up already.
Another 18 degree night tonight, I did see a flock of high flyers and it inspired me enough to brave the cold in the morning and hunt the corn field along the river. Dont think I'll put the kids through this but I do think I have my bro and cousin talked into it :eyebrow:
