There aint many birds of any species handsomer then a Hooded Merganser drake, took this today, season opens again tomorrow, if I see him then, you might get a close up ").

I took some guys out yesterday morning and that was the only bird to come into the decoys. I warned them earlier that I wont waste a shot on a lawn dart but they more than welcome to shoot one if they wanted. One guy who had the shot couldnt get his gun up in time.
