First, a shoe is used to try and blow up an airplane. And now shoes are used to try and take out POTUS.
Just happen to catch it on TV a couple minutes ago. During a press conference in Iraq with Nouri al-Maliki an Arab journalist threw his shoes at President Bush.

I hope the Secret Service pulls the guy's azzhole over his eyes. :argh:
Yeap he hates bush but without him he would not been able to do that and live. Could you imagine what would have happened if he would have done that at a Saddam Hessian press conference in Irag?
Edit to add Where was the secret service? He was able to throw the second shoe before being tackled?
Just based on observing the video, it would seem the protection given to President Bush was very ''light'', especially given the circumstances AND the place.
They all live like wild apes over there. I'm surprised it was just shoes that were used.
 Hey that rhymed!
OH no next thing you know there gona be trying to take away your shoes. It will start a waiting period for hiking boots or shoes with more than 8 sets of eyelets then anything with steel toes.
Give Reid and Pelosi some time, they'll try to outlaw them and if that doesn't work they'll tax them and pass a law that they have to be registered. For "the children" of course.... :innocentwhistle: :roflmao:
and I bet they will have there top engineres and designers working on a way to make them selfdestruct or fall apart after a pre set period of time.
you think gunsmithng is hard? try being a cobbler now. I bet the new rules and regulations will be mind blowing.
Mandatory background checks. Just like guns. If you ever committed a felony you can't possibly want them for any reason other than to commit a crime.
I think all the Secret Sevice guys had to be reassigned to Obamma.

In the Iraqi world, showing the bottom of your shoe or using your shoe to hit someone ( remember the young boy who was smacking Saddam's statue with his shoe when the statue was pulled down?) is a MAJOR form of disrespect. The guy that threw his shoes at Bush should hung by his balls and the Iraqi security forces will probably do it.
