Last year I sent Bill of Bill's Custom Calls some Deer antlers from a couple of Deer that I had killed and requested he make me a call, a few weeks ago I received the call in the mail and carried the call with me last week on a Hunting trip to Georgia, on Monday morning the 8th of Dec. one of the guys Hunting spotted a Bobcat from the stand he was hunting from, the evening before another Hunter heard Coyotes howling at Dark in the same area so Monday evening I decided to hunt in that area and see if I could call up a predator. Having the call that Bill made me in my pocket I had practiced some with it but had not used it hunting, I started calling ( using a distress sound the best I could )around 4:30 and called for about 20-25 minutes with nothing coming in, so knowing how Cats will sometimes come in and sit on the edge and wait until it quietens down before coming out so I played the waiting game for about 10 minutes when I saw this cat sneaking out of the thicket at about 130 yards looking for what was making all the noise, it did not take but a few seconds for him to find out as the click of the trigger on my 243 wssm with a 75 grain V-max coming his way, when the v-max struck the Cat jumped about 4 feet straight up and came down with what I call a real bang flop and my 3rd Cat of the season was on the ground, This cat was special as this was the first time I had used the call that Bill had made for me.Thanks Bill for great job on making the call. cc
