WELL I WENT DOWN N OLD LOGGIN ROAD WHERE IVE SEEN FOX SIGN N SET UP ON THE EDGE OF A BEAVER POND WITH MY FX3....SNOWING PRETTY GOOD.....20 SOME DEGREES...DID SOME SQUEAKING NO RESPONSE....THEN TRIED SOME SNOWSHOE HIGH PITCH ON THE FOXPRO...NOTHING....SO I PUT ON WOUNDED WOODPECKER AND LET IT PLAY REAL LOW FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES TRYING TO LURE IN A FISHER CAT....NO LUCK..SO THEN I WAITED A BIT THEN RIPPED A LOUD RABBIT SQUEAL ON MY CIRCE...NO RESPONSE....BUT MAN.....SURE IS MIGHTY PRETTY AND PEACEFUL OUT IN THOSE SNOW COVERED WOODS....EVERYHTING WHITE AND KIND OF MUFFLED....SNOW COMING DOWN.....BAGGING GAME IS A GOOD THING BUT JUST SITITNG IN THE WOODS AINT SO BAD EITHER :wink:
I like to head out right before the storms. It's usually the best.
Once the snow storm hits and comes to an end, I like to go out and confirm any areas that I may have been wondering about, by looking for fresh tracks in the new snow. :eyebrow:

Ive discovered the human hand fits a shotgun, rifle or flyrod much better then a snow shovel .....BUT HELL, SHELL JUST HAVE TO GET USED TO IT... :yoyo:
I wasn't ready for the snow! Still have no power and carrying wood around the house for the fire has becaome a hassle!
