I had some cutoffs in the shop and was looking to do something with them so
I put these together to see what I could come up with

I know the light kinda washes the call out a little but I think you get the Idea

This has a friction oil finish on it

Neat looking wood........Nice shape........I like it........... but that top piece needs something to darken it up a bit or something...I duno it just looks like there is only finish on the bottom half.......Or is that the wash you were talking about?
I would like to see it when its voiced That is some real nice wood :eyebrow:

That is a very nice call. I seen it this evening & the mouthpiece is finished nicely. It just doesn't show in the pic. The grain of the burl is really cool too. The bark inclusion actually fits nicely in the overall beauty of the call & doesn't actually detract from. I THINK I know what Bill would sell this for & I wouldn't have a problem handing over the $$ for it. It really is a nice call.

I see now looking at it again Its that light in the middle of the call body messin with me......

Just so you folks know HaMer didn't say anything here that he didn't say to my face.
Except the part I THINK I know what Bill would sell this for & I wouldn't have a problem handing over the $$ for it.

Well Fellers I will tell ya this much.
The call ain't finished yet and when it does get finished it will be for sale
It could be a day or so before it is done

We did not discuss a price on this call. Just the asthetics of it. :wink:

It sure is Jim,I have some more aroud here,so there will be more calls made from it as soon as I locate it.
