Only one week left for the Lake Erie Zone then we'll have to find other zones / states to hunt in. Here is a pic or two from this past fridays layout hunt. A nice mixed bag of Buffies, Bluebills, and couple bonus Long Tail Ducks. There could have been a redhead or two in the bag as well, but I had already shot my Bluebill and couldn't ID them quick enough to get a decent shot off as they came into the dekes. Oh well, Still a decent hunt.

Taking the kids out in the morning, there's still some duck n geese on the river. At least thats the plans they gave me :eyebrow: I finally got some days off work. :yoyo:

:roflmao: I keep a few here and there for meals. But most go into the freezer until the end of the season. Once we are done hunting for the year they will be ground up and made into sausage or hot sticks. So when are we going to start a duck hunting contest around here anyway :confused:
