Here are the pics from our hunt yesterday at the mouth of the Niagara River. I didn't take may camera out on the boat for any action shots due to the inclement conditions. The action was fast and the shooting was poor...not just by me either. We are all claiming the same excuse for poor shooting, the ducks were using that stiff tail wind to their advantage and we just didn't lead most of them nearly enough. Lesson learned...I hope.
The 18 bird - 3 man bag is all longtailed ducks - 3 shy of our limit, but not bad for stopping at 1:30 or so. We did see a few scoters but none that offered a shot. Most of them stayed way out on Lake Ontario.
Somebody has to keep the steel industry in business... :shrug:
