Just received a pictured from the Taxidermist in Saskatchewan of my bear. Waiting on the export permits and she still has a few touch ups and base to complete.

Once he arrives I'll take a few pictures from various angles and post them.
It looks a little more "life like" now. Nice looking mount.

NICE! :eyebrow:
Looks good so far. Looking forward to seeing finished pics.
That's a good lookin mount.
It looks even more blond then the pic in your avatar.
I don't recall if you said earlier, did you get a weight
on that one, or just a guesstimate?
Looks darker in avatar as he mad a short mad dash into the marsh and got a little wet.

Didn't have scales to weigh him. I'm a good sized dude, and the guide and I had great difficulty in dragging him out and getting him in the boat. By far the largest blonde color phase black bear my guide and outfitter Emile has ever seen. Most blonde bears folks drop the hammer on look like this:

I definitely got lucky with my bear!
Man that is going to be so sweet when it's done setting in the living room or den. :yoyo:
Well definitely a big bear, and a beauty.
Congrats again.
That's kinda my next goal whenever I make it bear huntin again
is a nice color phase.
Niice! Agree with your guide on the size: that's the biggest blonde black bear that I've ever seen, though I've only seen a few of therm in the wild.
