Yeah, nice and crisp and very distinct. I like em. Very professional looking.
You turning them or molding them?
How do they sound?

Thanks fellas. These are turned mostly on my little metal lathe. Tone boards are 1/2" with 1/8" square air channel and 5/8" with 3/16" air channel. 5/8 x 3/16 call barrel is opened up a bit. The 1/2 x1/8 call is a straight 1/2 barrel. I was shooting for a simple, clean almost industrial style. Then again, Im not good enough to turn beads and such on this lathe(some guys can) so its all straight lines and angles.

These are made from gray industrial pvc rod stock. Tough and they sound good as well. Im really liking this material for this kind of callbuilding. A far cry from the wood turning but I needed to get away from wood for awhile. I also wanted a line of  production style calls, but, well, still scratch built. Dont know if that makes sense, but I can set up to run a batch assembly line style so its kind of "production". Each one is still different from the other though. No two exactly the same. Didnt want to go the molding route, I just dont like the looks of most of em.

Anyway, I would post a sound file, but dont have a mic yet, sorry. Ill pick one up next day or so.

edit: Bill over on California Varmint Hunters board gave one a workout this weekend. He seemed to like em.

Any MP3 player has a record feature.....you just record it and then hook up to your pc and move it to the file you want....you may need to convert it to 8 bit mono or something by opening it with windows sound recorder and go to file and propeties.
then click convert all files. A window will appear and you can change it here.
This shrinks the file to make it easy for folks like me on dial up to load the file.
For example if you hold the cursor over the file and it says 4.3mb you will want that to be smaller anyway for the sake of your pc.
Now as far as putting it on the forum......You will need to ask Jimbo How.
Cell phones will record as well and the file size and quality are small and poor but it works.
