Title: 3rd ton
Post by: Silencer on January 17, 2009, 12:36:48 PM
Just picked up my 3rd ton of pellets for the stove.  This time they're even manufactured in my own state  :yoyo:
Wish my car would run on wood  :eyebrownod:

How many ton do you usually burn each year? What are your temps normally like?

This is the first year we've had the stove, the house is usually between 65-70.  These cold temps I've turned it up alot to keep up.
I've hardly burnt any fuel oil and that's my objective, to bend over the local fuel supply guy who's been putting it to me so many years  :eyebrow: :eyebrownod:

Fuel oil is HIGH. Propane isn't much better. We have been averaging 200gal per month over a 5 to 6 month period. Our last fill was $2.60 a gal. It has  been over $3.00 a gal.
