Hello folks,
New here on the site and just wanted to say hi. I am a 36 year old outdoorsman. Ohio state certified Hunter education and Trapper education instructor. I am the head of security at a local nightclub. Married with one 14 year old daughter. Daughter hunts and fishes with me wife won't, one out of two aint bad. Firearms enthusiast, reloader, target competition shooter (most years).

Hope to learn a bunch and contribute some.

Welcome aboard Huntinbull.  You have found a good site for learning and judging by your screen name I'd say the right site for some of that too.

Originally made the screen-name when I played darts competitively (i use that term loosely). Also describes my "competitive" target shooting. LOL

Thanks all for the warm welcome.
Hawks feather, I am from Kent, about 30 miles south of cleveland and 5 miles east of akron.
cathryn, I haven't trapped in the last few years. Was going to run a short line this past Nov but got too busy with work. Hoping to get a couple short strings this fall of 09.

Seems to be a great site for trading info and good comraderie. Im sure I will enjoy the time, and I hope to share and compare info on many topics.

Bill's Calls: I don't know what time you are gonna be up this way for the airport, but if you wanna try for some squirrels or maybe an afternoon stand or two for yotes.

Alscalls: Tackleshack changed hands several years ago, then changed names, then changed hands again, then moved to the corner by hudson dr,  then burnt in a fire and closed. Jack hasn't owned it in several years. That guy was a character wasn't he?

He once told me there were no pike in West branch.... :laf:  I caught an 18 pounder there one day and turned around and sure enough there was old Jack putting in his boat at the dock........So I ran the troll motor over near the dock and took a Pic of the fish with old Jack in the background then released the fish.
You should have seen his face the next day when I showed him the pic and told him If he would get his fat Arse outa bed early enough he might just catch one!.......... :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
