Title: Eagle at the lake
Post by: coyote101 on January 27, 2009, 06:33:13 PM
I drove to the lake yesterday to check on my RV and put a new cover on the boat. On the way there we spotted this guy:

He took off when I tried to get a little closer, but just circled and came back.

There aren't many things as majestic as an adult bald eagle.

This is only about five and a half miles east of LBL. I've seen them over there a couple of times but never on this side of the lake.

Nice !  I've been trying to capture some shots of our local pair but nothing so far.
