Is there any towers for Ham Radio FM 2 way communication ? Just curious, at one point I had my no-code license but I let it expire.

The gatehouse rangers station is connected to the Internet through their network. We used it to track the storms that came thru last year. However, they have filters in place that block a lot of sites and you cannot hookup your PC to their network.

My cell phone worked if I drove up on top of the hill past the campground.

Yeah, our cell phones worked last year too. Jason and I stayed in touch with the PA guys with our cell phones.
