I had a couple short pieces of coco laying around so I thought I would put them together, seems like I always end up with that dark ring when I glue one up so I will just call it a rookie ring :laf:

Thanks for looking
COOL...I love the grain in that walnut. :yoyo: :yoyo:
:laf: @ the rookie ring!! I take it they were too short for tenons. What would be nice would be an accent piece glued between them. Something like a 1/4" of maple. Just a thought.
You can tell it's from 2 different sticks but it will look real nice on a lanyard. :yoyo:
That Walnut is so wild it even shows up on pens Al. :yoyo:
I have one piece of fancy burl left...cut it my self years ago.....I am afraid of messing it up... :sad3:
I would be proud to use either of em Bill :highclap: :highclap: :highclap:
Thanks guys
I have a few pieces of walnut left like that,I was gonna make an open reed out of the same blank but I got it to
thin and sanded through it :nono:
The coco call does have a 3/4 inch tennon
Well, if you don't know how to glue up any better than that it must be a "Rookie Ring!" :iroll:
:laf:
