That is a helluva nice deer :eyebrow: Mannnnnnnnnnnnnn!
Here's another version of the story going around, even though they are completely different, I'd like to know the real deal on it.
This one says he harvested it in Texas, and turned down the 13 grand from Cabelas.

I don't know
Lot of green vegetation ( maybe early bow season)
Tee shirt and jeans ( Not exactly what most early season bow hunters wear)
No blood (seen three pic's no blood on hunter or deer)
Pictures look authentic somewhat seems like this story would have came out sooner if it was Wisconsin since it would have had to have happened while the vegetation was green.
If it was Texas it could explain the still green vegetation. Maybe a rifle shot since there seems to be no blood and the way the hunter is dressed.
I am always cautious when you cant find an official statement from the hunter or a local news group confirming it.
if that was my deer no amount of money would buy him I wouldnt do afull mount myself but id do a shoulder mount and have the rest of the hide done as a wall rug bt there would be no sellin him for no reason but thats just me now if the want to buy a picture ........
I got that e-mail too..aint sure what the hecks going on but it is a neat looking deer.
I did see a guy get $100 for an old worn out Yugo once........... :innocentwhistle:
ive heard the Texas story too but either way, thats one impressive animal, imo.
Looks like his dad or mom fooled around with one of'dem Jersey cows.
He'd be gone in a heart beat for 13 grand. I'd get the cash and it would be displayed for ever with a plaque with my name on it.
i was thinkin ayrshire,lol.
