Title: Ice storm photos
Post by: coyote101 on January 31, 2009, 09:01:29 PM
Here are a few pictures of some of the ice around here. We didn't get near the amount in Hopkinsville as some other places, and what we did get is pretty much gone now. The damage is extensive and many folks are still without power and water.

These first five were taken around my house on Wednesday January 28th.

These next five were taken yesterday (Friday) on a local farm while we were hunting.

I took the last three today on the Western Kentucky Parkway.

Can you imagine hunting in that?
It'd be like tip toeing through a crystal glass jungle.

We were hunting today and while under a big tree covered in ice.......The wind would blow a little and you would hear the ice crack and a piece would fall to the ground here and there.........The right piece in the right place would hurt like hell!! I wish this stuff would just go away!!
