I bought a new chuck for my lathe and couldn't wait to try it out

Here is a coco closed reed that sounds awesome

Nice Bill! I like the shape. It looks like it'll be comfortable in the hand.
Is that a satin varnish type finish or an oil finish on that call? It looks nice.
Also, what type of chuck did you get? Do you like it?

That is a friction oil finish
I bought the chuck from grizzly.com
As of right now I like the chuck

Don't know if I can or not,but it will open up to 3 inches and that is big enough for me

nother great lookin call there Bill if I ever get my lathe thats the kind of Chuck I want to get for it as well looks like it should work great keep up the wonderful work :yoyo:
