I order most of my reloading supplies from Midsouthshooters supply and have always had good service from them. One of the reasons is MidwayUSA site is so slow.
The past 3 days I have been trying to order some stuff from Midway because the items I want are not carried by Midsouth. I cant get on there site half the time and I cant seem to get to where I want to go unless it is a long wait or the page times out. You would think as large as MidwayUSA is they would spend a little more on there website. I have better luck going though there foreign midway sites than there USA site to look at info. :argh:
Finding the product is a pain but when I do it is impossible to click on the details and it take you there.
Anyone else have this problem???
Richard, I think they have been having a site problem lately and undergoing some repair. I had the same trouble as you, so I went back there real early one morning and found everything o.k. and got my order in. I also received the new catalog and found it was laid out better than older issues. As always, their shipping service has been quick and well packaged. I contacted them and informed them of the problems with the site, and they were grateful.

Midway's site problems got old Richard tangtongued or tonguetanged, or sumfin! :roflmao: :roflmao: Don't forget he just went through that high speed chase after robbing that store!! :nono: :laf: :nono:
Richard,
You should give them folks a call and explain your frustration.....I have dealt with them on the phone a few times and I tell ya they were real good to me.
Finding some items are dang near impossible. I made it to a gun show last week and USED small pistol dies were either not there or about 30% above retail. Concealed carry pistols were priced totally out of sight as well. I looked on Midway, Midsouth, Graf, etc. and all of them were out of the die set I was looking for. I got a set, not the ones I wanted, but a set that will work for no more than I will need them. I have most sets, but not this one. While I was at the show I saw one box of 500 lead pistol bullets (.45 in 200 grain or something close) that were priced at $105. While I was standing there another person laughed at the guy and said that he would never sell it, to which he said he had 5 when the day started. I went by on my way out of the building and it was gone. Two years ago you could have bought the box for $25. I am just glad I got some supplies over the past couple of years.

I was trying to buy a Lee die set for my 7mm-08 and Midway was always out of stock, I would check other sites and Midway was always a little cheaper and the other sites where out of stock also. I looked for around 3 weeks checking and every time, out of stock, so I had to order some bullets and I just ordered the Lee die set and guess what!!! The die set came with my bullets.
Makes you what to go hummmmmm!!!
Check Ebay they have pretty good deals on new pistol and rifle die sets!!
I got a new set of Redding Dies for my 22-250 off E-bay for about $9 cheaper than I could find them anywhere. Its kind of a Hit & Miss with E-bay though.
Yea your right, but you can find some really good deals sometimes. The other day I bought a New Blender for $1.00. I bought it to blend up Lures and Baits for Trapping. When UPS delivered it my wife took it and gave me her old one. lol :eyebrownod: She said they are about $30 + at Walmart and it was a top brand name, but its just like you said its a hit and mess deal.
I ordered some things from Midway a few weeks ago, and one item was to be on backorder. They wanted to charge shipping on the item when it got in stock. I have never had that happen from Cabela's or anyplace else. Cabela's ships you the backordered item with no S&H when they get it in stock if you pay for it with your order. It appears on your credit card as two transactions but the second one has no S&H added. That is only right, IMO.
