Well new to me any way. Went to the gun show in town last Sat. and found this little jewel. Far as I can tell they were made from 1995-1998. It is an AMT Magnum Hunter (semi-auto).

One of the best things about it is the scope. It is a Swift 2x7x40 and has a FOV of 60'@100 yds. Yes a 22 mag will get the job done especially with a few quick follow ups

Nice grab, never knew anyone made a .22 mag auto. I love my bolt, and killed alot of game with the old mag.

Ruger and Volquartsen come to mind. Both make auto .22 mags. Although I think Ruger may have dropped the mag from its product line.
The Volquartsen is a very high quality and expensive rifle.
Used to was, Marlin made a 22 mag semi auto. Model 922 if I am not mistaken. Good shooter. Then there is the 22 super mag, some folks call em 223's????HEHE

Model 922 is correct. Clip feed, semi-auto, walnut stocked... I've got one, fine little rifle.
