I recieved a box in the mail today.......From nor-cal yote full of a wood called manzanita cant wait to turn it I cant even pronounce it..... :laf: Thank you very much my friend I hope to hunt with you someday. :wink:
There is a lot of cracks but if you look it up that dont matter much.

I'm glad it got there Al, depending on which web-site you go to its the 8th or 4th hardest wood in the world, the heart wood is a deep red color. We cut and pile this and burn it, it seemed a waste to me. And it will dull a chain saw pretty fast. We have thousands of acres of this, when it catches fire its off to the races.
Boy they sure hammered that box up didn't they?
