Title: my fathers cat mount
Post by: bigben on March 04, 2009, 05:09:56 PM
My father got the call last week that his bobcat is ready for pickup and whenever we wanted to come pick it up go ahead.  here are some pics.  I think it came out great.  sorry for the crappy pic quality.

Mounted bobcats are the toughest thing in the world to photograph. I have no idea why.

I dont like the looks of that one either.
I'm positive it's the photograph, so dont be offended. They looks great in the house. Glad he got it back and is happy :congrats:

it looks really good in person for some reason it looks like a eye is lazy and the ear is cocked.  they are not in real life.  I took a pic with my cell which is better then the video camara and I left my cable at work.  maybe that came out better.

Shoot, next time call this "my father's Bobcat  mount."  I was fully expecting to see some domestic feline laying flat in the road.  While this one looks good, I really like seeing "flat" cats.

here is a better pic of the face.  looking at the mount again the one ear is cocked but it kinda adds to the realism.
