I haven't got around to getting my boat ready to fish this year so me and a freind of mine were planning on doing a little bank fishing. Well, another freind showed up with his boat. So the three of us hit the water.
There was hardly no line at all to launch the boat...

After launching, we went up to the end of the lake. There is a dam there with another small lake above it...

We had intended to fish for walleye. We thought they would be stacked up against the dam to spawn. The water temp was 57* so they may have already been done. We didn't catch even one walleye. But apparently they had just dumped 120,000 8"-12" rainbow trout in the lake. You couldn't make a cast without getting a bite. Between the three of us we caught around 150 trout. They were all small but we had a blast on ultralight tackle.

The fish were all small, but for the first time out this year we had a great day.

Nice Pics...You guys are getting me more pumped up everyday between fishing and the turkeys. I'm glad its getting warmer.
