My wife is gone for a week or more. I hit Colonel Chicken tonight but am running out of options and may have to cook for myself. Actually I can rustle OK, but I got to reading through Cathryn's posts on cooking. Whooeee, you can cook, lady. Salivated on my keyboard while looking at some of the food you've prepared. Thanks for all of the great posts.

i enjoy cooking very much and there is one thing im sure of and that is that im a good cook.
im not being conceited but my grandma was the best cook ever and i learned from her.

Really Cathryn it is not your fault that he has passed. It is just what normally happens to a man who STARVES. Thank you, Cathryn. I saw your post last week but in my weakened state it took me till now to crawl up high enough on the chair to reach the keyboard. It is hard for a starving man to push down the keys with enough strength for letters to show up on the screen. But I don't want you to feel bad, Cathryn. There were enough calories in the pics of your cooking to keep me alive, for awhile anyway. Went salmon fishing for a few hours last week but got skunked, so no food from Mother Nature either. Heard that you are related to her.
Actually, I've been travelling some and my computer died as well, so I'm using my wife's tonight. Truth be told, I cook more than my wife does nowadays, with our children grown. Managed a moose cheese burger and a lot of fresh cherries today.
