Title: One Piece Wood Duck Call
Post by: duckslayer on March 26, 2009, 08:58:11 PM
Well here is my newest creation.  Wood duck calls are one of those things that we use mostly in the early season so I thought, why not make it small like a pintail whistle so you can use your other loops on your lanyard for other calls.  So this is what I came up with, something small, compact, but still sounds great.  let me know what you think, I kind of like it and will be making one for me for next year.  I took a pic of it with a normal size duck call so you could see the difference.  The call is made out of cedar.

That's purdy cool. As long as it brings the webfoots in it doesn't matter how big it is does it?? That Bocote/Clear is a sweet looker too.

Just want to clarify something for those who are not duck hunters, when I say wood duck call, I dont mean a call made out of wood, I mean a call for WOOD DUCKS!!

Just curious and not trying to copy what your using :nono: but I have to ask...what are you using for a toneboard / reed? I'm in the process of making my own and I was just wondering.  :wo:
