Post by: alscalls on April 12, 2009, 10:27:36 PM
My nephew and I went out after dinner to show you folks a little about where he lives....
We talked and took picks and just had a nice day outside....
We thought you all would like to see this old tracktor.....

Great pics Al.  Firewood?  We have no trees that big.  The pony is cool and the barn is outragious.  Nice calves and I'd say time well spent.

Nice looking barn. How much hay ya think has made its way to the top of that old girl?

Barry, the reason you dont have any trees that big is because Canada has been selling us lumber down here for ever. :eyebrownod:

That tree died this year from those moths...... :rolleye: those things are killing every oak in sight :rolleye:
I figure Ryan will see those picks 30 years from now and say ........What is that big thing I am standing next too?
you can see some of the damage in the second pic where the bark is falling off.

Jim, I have put a good bit of hay in that barn before and I tell ya.....it holds a lot! My brother in law is talking about fixing it all up this year......I hope he does, It's a dandy....Post an beam inside... but shes sinking.....lot of work replacing those posts :whew:

I know a guy who took one of them lugs like on the back tire of that tractor and mounted it on a post pounder to split wood.  Dang near killed himself :doh2:.
