It was 70 and sunny (HOT) here yesterday, Jim. The river has started to rise (the June rise) and the Paddle fish should start running before long. Maybe you are too far east?
P.S. I'm in eastern Montana. Farther north than you.

I'm just a few miles north of you and the rivers still froze over and yesterday we got to a high of 34F with snow and rain.
I'm with Jim on ya fellas keeping your heat. :sneer: Heck it hits 50 here and we have to turn on the Central Air.
It is threads like this that make me appreciate the rain and 43 degree temps here today. There is one thing for certain in Ohio - if you don't like the weather today, just wait till tomorrow and it will change. :sad3:
Jerry
Yeah I'm in Wisconsin, 5 shots. Quite a bit North and East of you.
Tomorrow it's suppose to be 70! it sounds like a nice day to wear shorts! :thumb2:
Back down to 40s. Shorts? I haven't wore shorts since before you were born Mandi.
Jim I'm not sure, but I think I'm north of you...I'm about 100 miles south of Canada.
Yeah you are...what was I thinking?
Oh wait a minute!...I wasn't :doh2:
It almost reached 70 today here, I have no idea where that came from but a couple more and I'm gonna be jerkin bass from the river. :yoyo:

I don't know how warm it was today Jim but I got a sunburn. :laf: :laf:
Water is 48 degrees and no fish biting yet.
Some of the bass are starting thier beds here.
Were setting at 48 degrees here too, just below the surface. It'll be a lil bit yet our bass start moving.
There's a few in the shallows on real sunny days, but they are real sluggish yet.
Jim, We have had our share of snow. I'm glad it is finally getting outta here. With the melting going on, all our dams and lakes are just about full. Lake Oahe which backs up 250 miles upstream is rising at the rate of just about a ft. every 24 hrs. The elevation is 1607 and rising. Full capacity is 1620. We haven't seen Lake Oahe that full for about 10yrs. All the boat ramps are accessible and everyone is happy. We usually get our best runoff from the mountains East of us in June. I suspect our lake is going to be just about full. With the water rising , our northern pike should have a real good spawn. All that vegetation with provide excellent spawning and fishing. :highclap:
