It was a beautiful day deer hunting in Ohio when the small 8 point was pushed by me by the Coyote

There is a white coyote in this story somewhere but i sure don't see it? :confused:

Good deal Ira! That is a fine lookin coyote. Looks like a north western coyote. Did you get the rest of the buck or just scalp him?  LOL :sneer: Congrats on two fine animals.

What part of the state were you hunting?

I am originally from Alabama but I am doing a surgery residency in Grand rapids.  My Brother in laws family is from Belfountaine.  George and Herb Heater are the guys I hunted with.  They live off of County road 199 on going south on 68 just outside of Belfountaine

That's wild. I know the Heater clan. To bad we didn't know this before ya was up this way, been nice to meet ya.

Hell, i seen ya all a couple days at the Shell in west liberty before hittin the restaraunt.

Small world. A couple of the boys you probably were hunting with was out at the house askin about coyote callin that week too.

Boy in the orange?? Jason, Jeremy, and Herb, george peekin behind herb.  The 2 on the far right, The last one isn't that George, Herbs brother? been years since I have seen him.

That is one pretty coyote. I would love to get my sights on one. Never seen anything like that around here.
