I'm in the process of finalizing a deal for some waterfowling equipment with a guy in Richmond, KY. I'm hoping to make the trip either this weekend or next weekend. Any of you boys in southeast Ohio / northwest West Virginia / northeast Kentucky have time for a visitor on my way back through? It probably won't be until late afternoon that I make it into that area.
I'm gonna miss a day of turkey hunting :madd:, but it will be well worth it
Steve
I might not be on your route but feel free to stop in. Hope you have a good trip.
Careful there Barry...I may take you up on that someday. I'd love to run some traps with you and maybe shoot some of those pesky coyotes you guys have infesting your area :eyebrow:
Steve
I'm cool with that. My neighbor who is a mile away just to the right of where my cow sits from the house shot five coyotes this past weekend. His bait kinda/sorta lines up with mine and we both agree that one day one of us will get lucky. :innocentwhistle:

Dang...I thought you were giving me directions to your house there for a minute.
Hey...By the way, I talked to the engraver on those calls and he said he won't have my stuff done until early to mid next week. I guess their business is picking up for the spring and summer - that's definitely a good thing. I'll get those calls out a.s.a.p.
Steve
No hurry as I got 60,000+ acres to cover in the next two months. :doh2:
I will be Turkey hunting so feel free to Join in......
I was just doing some figuring...I probably wouldn't make it to that area until 7 or 8. You guys have a good pizza joint in that area?

Well my plans may be getting canceled if the other party doesn't get back in touch with me soon. I thought we had the deal all finalized and now I can't get a response from him
I was hoping to swing through the area on the way back and have some coffee or other fine beverage. It may be put on hold again though. :madd:
I was really hoping to swing by Parkersburg Jim...I wanted to stop by the woodcraft store. That is a real nice one they have there.
I'll keep you guys posted if the plans are back on.

Well I finally got all of the details worked out with this guy. I will be leaving Erie either Friday evening after work or early Saturday morning. I have a few phone numbers plugged into my cell so I will be calling some of you guys to see what you're up to on the way back through.

You bet...and I still somehow managed to get up at 4:45 in time to make it up to New York for a hunting / scouting foray :yoyo: I heard two gobbles and then heard somebody bustin' branches. Found a LOT of good looking trapping territory while I was up there though...I may have to splurge this season and buy my NY trapping license too
Steve
Cool!! :yoyo:
