Poll
Question:
Should I start adding my name on pictures of calls?
Option 1: Yes - black lettering
votes: 8
Option 2: Yes - white lettering
votes: 4
Option 3: No lettering
votes: 3
I had too much time on my hands today and thought about adding my name to call pictures. Don't ask me why, I was just sitting here and thought it might look good. Since there have not been any polls for a few weeks I decided to start one. Name with black letters, name with white letters, no name.

Thanks,

Nice touch Jerry, and I think the color of the wording will depend on the color of the back ground, but I like the black with this one.

I have to agree with Todd on this one
I like the lighter colored letters on the light blue. It's less noticeable. The call should be the focal point. Maybe put the lettering a little further away from the call next time. Like the way an artist signs his paintings in an inconspicuos place. JMHO
Wow nice call :yoyo: I think the name thingy is great and would agree with Glen for once.
I like the lettering, and voted for white.
I think I'd center it, and move it down
towards the white outer edge.

You could fade it in too, so it wouldn't take from the call, by reducing the opacity, if what ever your using for an editing program lets you.
myself i dont see the need for the name. after all is the name for who made the call or who took the pic. we can look at who made the post and then the name on the call (i like names on calls wether artfully done on the outside or markded inside). i tried numerous times to look at the pic and i automaticly focused on the call, the name on the background just became part of the background. my vote is no name on the background.
If you feel the need to put your name on the pic, I would go with black lettering on that blue background.
Question: Do you have the name "Hawk" or Hawk's Feather" copyrighted or otherwise legally protected to keep someone else from using it? If not, then putting your real name in the pic might be a good idea to differentiate the call from someone else. :wo:
