Was that thing just caught or is it mounted? It looks so perfect.

Thats what we used to refer to as a sandwich fish. Just fillet, fry and put it on bread.  :biggrin:

That looks like a bluegill on steroids.  For a little fish they put up a pretty good fight and I would guess that one was no exception.
