Well me and Shaw got down to Geordies about 6:30 friday night and went and located some coyotes. After we located some coyotes we went and ate a big dinner at the Goat cafe or Dog or somthing like that. Anyway it was mexican food.
We woke up saturdy to high winds, but it wasnt going to slow us down. We ended up calling 3 coyotes in saturday. Killed two wich were colored pretty as i ever seen. We played the wind on the first coyote and Shaw shot him and then on the last stand of the day we called in a pair and Geordie followed suit with a 205yrd shot to bring the ol boy down. We also got a visual of a cat we called but no shot.
Sunday we woke to a lil fog with cooler temps and slight wind....What a day. First set we called in four wich Shaw tipped one over at 435yrds. And a few stands afyter we called another across some prarie and the coyote got to chasing a hawk and lost intrest and we had to poke a shot at 500 plus yrds and didnt get em. Later in the day we called a lil female in and geordie dispatched her. And im tellin you it was some good footage. Anyway all in all it was a pleasure huntin OK again with Shaw and Geordie. Heres some pics . And i feel like im missing some. Seriously im tired so if i am , Chime in Shaw??

Wow....that is some pretty land...a lot different than the heavily wooded and very hilly terrain in LBL I'm used to. What state did that hunt take place in? Also, I'm assuming you guys were using ecallers to project your deadly song out there?
Nice shots by the way...200 yards is a good poke around here....400 is pretty amazing.
and no tails
That is some nice looking country.
Did someone say Mexican food? :shck: :holdon:
Hey Steve, did the use that dog in the pic for a toll or decoy?
Great stuff, guys.
Outstanding shooting too. Looking forward to January.
Brad
LBLHUNTER, Nope just used hand calls, no ecallers this ride.....But i do use em a lot"

Way to go fellas.....Boy them are some nice colored coyotes you guy's got. What did ya drop the 400 yarder with Randy? Tac20? Good shootin by the way!
Congrats Geordie on your 200 plus shot, and you have some beautiful lokkin country to call.

Brent
JD, I was shooting a 22-250 with a 53 grain bullet. It is a hot load.
Randy
JD, Randy's new name is officially.....Randolph 'Pilegro' Shaw. There were even some signs out there announcing his presence. Of course, at El Cabrito (the goat), they still call him Senor Shaw. But, I here they are going to name a margarita after him. :eyebrownod: Maintain, Geordie
I told you guys it was thew Goat
Ha Ha... :eyebrownod: Senor Shaw Eh!! Pachos Mui Grande :eyebrow: Anyone know what that means?? :sneer:
Was this the Oklahoma hunt put on by Jholly?
How's life treatin ya Geordie? Been keepin busy on the ranch?
Cool Randy..I shoot a 22-250 also perty partial to 50 grn. V-max's. Didn't ya have a tac 20 in Az.?
JD
JD, Me and Steve just went down to Geordie's place for the weekend. He was an excellent host by the way. I have a Tac 20 that I use here in MO and other places with fairly tight conditions. When in wide open country, I take the 250.
