Well I got out this morning and got to go out for the first time with my Brother doing a little calling. We headed out about 5:30am and got set up on a field that has produced in the past. I had called for about 10 minutes and was about to give up, but I waited about 4 minutes and then started some with some high pitched howls, followed up by male howls and back and forth, after about 5 minutes of playing around I started with some ki'yi's.. about 1 minute into the ki'yi's I had a about coyote come in from behind us and ran straight down the fence line. He didn't want to stop at all. I whistled , squeaked, smooched, barked, and finally yelled at him to get him to stop, probably about 20 feet from where he would have winded us. My brother took the shot at about 120 yds and down he went. I didn't have my camera with me but he had his. I'll have the pics in a little while, but they are nothing special let me tell you.. He was the first coyote with mange that i've took this year. His tail looked like a poodles tail with it shaved all of the way down except the tail Anyways, my brother got his first coyote and we had a good time. Aaron.
songdog,
You just did too good of a job calling if he didn't want to stop. Well, until he took a bullet. That changes lots of things.
Jerry

Congrads! Sounds like a fun time!
