'Hooked' goes primetime on Nat Geo
Fishing show will air regularly on Monday nights

National Geographic has given global fishing show "Hooked" a permanent spot on its primetime schedule, highlighting the cabler's slate of summer programming.
"Hooked," which averaged 1.8 million total viewers as a recurring special from 2006 through February, will air regularly Mondays at 10 p.m. beginning June 29. Hosted by aquatic ecologist Zeb Hogan, the series simultaneously explores how different cultures approach fishing (and underwater conservation) while highlighting the most dramatic catches
