Rick223 and I went after Smallies today, and it was one of the slowest days we've had.
But just as luck would have it, Rick happened to tie into one of the biggest Smallies him and I have ever seen come out of this river. :shck:
21" and barely a hair under 4lbs. Man it was a beaut.

Looked like one of those professional bigfoot, UFO, moth man, chupicabra......etc videos. All over the place with just enough film to make ya believe its a fish. :innocentwhistle: :biggrin:

I damnear fell in trying to get that on video with a damn cellphone, walking around that damn flat bottom to help him, where there isn't one square inch of floor exposed, and in current consistently at 40 knots. Bout lost the cell phone too. :laf:

It looks like Photobucket is cutting off the tail end of the clip where he's holding it up, for some reason.

Quantity, I've bagged myself out with the max of 5 many times when they are spawning.
I think my biggest smalley to date is 17" or 18". That was year before last if I remember right.
My top largemouth is 23".
