Title: Open reed distress
Post by: John_NY on July 12, 2009, 07:31:36 PM
I finished this call up the other day. It is an open reed distress call. I thought it looked pretty rustic so I added a little burn  ring on the ends.

John,
I like the shape and general looks of the call.

Al,
To burn horn, you just turn the lathe up as high as it will go and pinch the spinning horn between your thumb and finger.  This only works once with each hand, so make sure it is a call that you want before wasting a thumb and finger.
