Went out to one of the local lakes yesterday with my guide :sneer: and had an 18 and 18.5 inch rainbow in the boat in ten minutes of trolling, and lost on bigger (mid 20's) that thought it was an acrobat.
The guide and wonder dog.

The only thing that is keeping me from licking the screen is that I just got back from an all you can eat fish supper. Nice looking fish. This is the first time that I have ever seen a guide dog at work in a boat. I thought they were urban legends.
Jerry
Your lucky he dont slap ya Jerry. Talking about licking the screen that way when he shows a pic of his wife. :nono:
Todd, you guys got all the good fish up there. Somethings wrong with this.
I'm really glad that you were able to break away from the everyday routine and get some fishing in. Lord knows you've earned it.
More nice pics :yoyo:
Nice fish Todd and I'm kinda/sorta amazed that the shine from them legs didn't blind them so they wouldn't bite.
 What........ :holdon: ........... No NAP !?
Oh.........you werent at work........ :laf: :laf:
Looks like a great time! :yoyo: :yoyo:

O.K. I will leave it all up to you.
With fishing Guides like that and Moose hunters like Sara I think I need to come to AL. Looks like you had a great day. :eyebrownod: cc
Took Wyatt out today for a couple of hours and he caught a 18.5 rainbow and a 16.5, 15.5 and 15.5 Arctic Char. Good day for him but the lil' sucker had on a monster rainbow that got lost at the net. :madd: But over all good day.

Someone had to teach him how to do that successfully. :yoyo:
The ones that get lost at the net create incentive
Taking him out will give you both memories that you will never forget. Way to go.
Jerry

Super job!
Really good pics of the young man and his fish :yoyo: Bob and Don say they want to go with you :pout: Good deal you have going on there.
Todd, about the closest I came to fishing like that was when the trout hatchery 4 miles up stream from the house, washed out. Better than 30,000 rainbows of all sizes became available! I did not know about it, until I observed the neighbor sneaking down to the Tulpehocken creek two evenings in a row? I surprised him that evening, like a Brown bear bursting out of the alders! He fessed up, and even gave me a jar of PowerBait, being that he had bought out all the local stores supply! I caught trout (all the state would allow was 8 per day), till the wife said "No more!" It was fun while it lasted! I hope you folks have a great time!
Dave
Well he out fished us again yesterday, and again caught the biggest rainbow for the day, and it was 18.5. Didn't get any action pictures, but I got him cleaning his catch.

I sure am glad you got that camera figured out Todd
I enjoy seeing pics of what Alaska has to offer, and Chris seems to think that we should move up there
Thanks for the pics
I'm gonna second that.
Man it's like we finally get to see what goes on up there.
Someone taught him well  And and boy do them slabs look good.
The boy skunked ya huh Todd??........ :laf: :laf:
Thats OK it keeps him coming back...... :yoyo: :yoyo: Tell him good work on the supper! :eyebrownod:
Great pictures Todd. I always enjoy seeing pictures of kids hunting or fishing. Looks like you had a great couple of days out with the family. How is the weather down there, we have been hot and smokey from the fires in Minto and wood river. One of these days we should get together some where in the middle and do some fishing. By the way enjoy seeing the boy clean his own catch.
John
Man I love to see the lad cleaning fish :yoyo: Way to many people are taught that their job is done once the fish or game is in the creel :madd: You are doing it right Todd and my respect level meter just keeps going up :highclap:. Nice looking fish cleaning shack you got there too.
Thanks fellas,
Between me, John, and Loren I think we might be able to cover the Alaska pictures for ya. ;yes;
John it has been raining off and on for the last 3-4 days, matter fact most the time we was fishing it was raining on us. I'm all up for meeting in the middle or heck driving up to go fishing with ya. Just let me know when and where and give me a yell next time ya drive through Wasilla.
Barry, that cleaning shack is the wifes kitchen, and she has already informed me that the cleaning starts and stops with fish only. :innocentwhistle: In other words I can't skinn the rabbits and what nots in there. :roflmao:
Lol, No Al, he caught the biggest, but he didn't skunk me. I did catch one rainbow that day. His Nan put a $5 bounty out ther for the biggest fish though, so he was jazzed to had caught it that day.
Sounds like a great time....... :yoyo: :yoyo: :yoyo:
