Thanks fellas.....I have been doing a bunch of them as I am filling an inventory order for a local shop for hunting season. :eyebrownod:

Problem is folks keep talking me out of em and I keep giving them away.......makes it hard to get caught up.... :laf:

I like the way that grain runs on that. I made a couple pens from diagonal cut Bocote & they looked really nice.

Somebody seriously needs to look into casting these tubes in different colors, or camo. I think it'd be a helluva run :congrats:

Yeah, I'm kinda a purest and like the molded tone boards, I have always thought those tubes on deer calls and coyote howlers really looked cheesy, but what can ya do, its the nature of the call. So with the tubes I have just learned to accept it and live with it.  :biggrin:  I have how ever seen them in different colors but can't recall where?  :confused:

Al, if I was a deer hunter and or deer call collector, I would for sure be tempted in that call as its a looker.

I am working on an interesting predator call......but there is a hold up for now.....you will see it soon and I think you will like it. :biggrin:

Someone else's molded tonaboard and someone else's grunt tube (Or something off the wife's vacuum), but hey you painted it and probably tuned it, you for sure are a top quality custom call maker and if you presented it in the right arena, you might even be told " Its the best call I have ever seen. You should sign as an HOB."   :laugh2: Or get the no emotion, generic stamp of approval, returning the favor reply of "Nice Call"  :roflmao:
