Title: Ohio, Pennsylvania, W. Virginia Guys (and Cathryn)...
Post by: Coulter on August 03, 2009, 04:04:54 PM
Just wanted to give you guys and gals a heads up and see who might be interested in meeting at the Ohio State Trappers Convention September 11 - 13. These shows are always a great time with a ton of good info floating around. Heck, there might even be some predator calling related goodies. I plan to head down after I get out of work on Friday the 11th and will probably stay until Sunday depending on how many of you guys decide to show up.

So how 'bout it Glen, Bill, Jim, Charlie, Jerry, Cathryn and whoever else lives within reasonable distance. It may be too far for you Chet, but We'd love to see ya there. Sorry if I forgot to include anybody in the invite, I just tried to remember who all lives in the area. I know there are more of you guys in the area, but I'm not sure where everybody lives. It is about a 3 1/2 hour ride for me, I'd be happy to pick somebody up on the way down, but it seems most of you either live within an hour or so, or you live south of there.

I might even throw in a call to raffle off if enough of you show up for this shin-dig...or is called a ho-down in those parts :wo: Anyway, it is BYOB or whatever concoction you decide to make up / drink.

I suppose it would help if I mentioned the show is in Caldwell, OH at the Noble County Fairgrounds. I'm not sure about admission fees, but camping is $10 per night primitive or $15 per night w/ water & electric. There are also hotels in the area for anybody else that doesn't want to camp out.

Steve
So who's in...this looks like a great time to meet some of the FnF crew.

Steve,

I am with Glen on this - on the calendar and time will tell.  My wife and I are planning to go west, don't know when we are leaving or how long we will be gone.  Part of it will depend on my sister-in-law (and her husband)  and how long we can live in her basement.  That is assuming it is finished by then.  The basement is pretty small - just two bedrooms, a bath, an exercise room, pool (cue type) room with wet bar, recreation room, and the wine room.  I am not sure what the changes will be, but possibly the exercise room will be gone and the pool room will be enlarged.  My name is Cousin Eddie (think of the Griswald movies) when we go to visit them.

I knew there was somebody else in that area I was neglecting...sorry 'bout that Al. I'll try to get a head count when we closer to the date, I just wanted to get the word out there so everybody that wanted to try and come could make the plans waaayyy ahead of time.

Oh and Mopar has my vote...but I do like the fact that your truck is trained to veer towards dirt roads

Would like to make it as this would be an opportunity to meet in person some of the finest from Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and of course Cathyrn. About 2 hours due West from here.  Unfortunately it probably won’t happen since we are leaving for an Alaskan cruise early morning of the 17th.
Hope all that make it have a good time…(I’m sure you will)

Any suggestions for what to do, to see, or places to not miss would be appreciated.

Whats the head count? Is anybody planning on going to the show? If nobody else is going from here I will be staying home to work on calls that I have neglected to work on.

Glen are you going?
Al?
Bill?
Jerry?
Buehler?
Cathryn?
Anybody else?
